Mission Statement
- The Premedical Career Pathway Research Project aspires to help educate students in the realities of having a career in medicine by exploring the areas of economics, politics, academics, current events, and lifestyle relating to medicine.
- We hope to provide students with the educational tools to make informed decisions about future career paths, especially regarding the pursuit of a career in medicine.
- We endeavor to expel the pre-med myths developed during undergraduate education with updated facts from credible sources.
- We promote the maximization of potential and time through early exposure to medical internships and opportunities for self-reflection in order to make conscious decisions about why they should or should not pursue a career in medicine and whether medicine is the best choice for their relative life goals.
