These are just a few of the abundant options that exist for students who want to explore a premedical career outside of working as a doctor. In addition to the non-clinical career pathways suggested in the Top Resources tab, there are also several duel-degree programs that can be pursued by medical students who have professional interests beyond clinical medicine. Medical Scientist Training Programs (MSTPs) are one example, in which students concurrently pursue the MD and PhD degrees.
