SummaryFinancing Medical School Medical School is getting more and more expensive these days and the increasing cost of living in some areas isn’t helping. Taking student loans is inevitable and paying them off can be an even bigger hurdle. There are many programs out there to help students pay off their debt such as the National Health Service Corps and even the Military. There are also additional government and state programs out there to help students pay off these huge loans! Many medical schools make it a point to actively recruit minority students during their undergraduate period. Medical schools offer academic support and counseling programs for minority students. These programs include summer bridge programs and tutoring, and even prep help for the MCAT!
